I really need to create some proper names for these songs! Anyway, first open mic night done :D

No photos unfortunately, but an amazing experience. The audience was small, about 15 people, but everyone came up to me at the end and said I was really good.

I didn't really get nervous, which was nice. I felt more excited about the start of a new adventure.
There was definitely still some adrenaline going around my body though, but I managed to not race my way through the songs like I often do when I get nervous. Each time I perform each song it is getting easier though. 

Catflaps went well, with the odd faltering in singing. Still need to work a little on the transition to the quiet plinky bit.

Raindrops went smoothly, despite being the hardest song. The top string was going so badly out of tune by this point because I had new strings. N.B. Stretch strings out before playing anywhere.

Slap got the most positive reaction, something which surprises me as I never expect anyone else to like that song haha


All in all, a grand success. It has definitely motivated me to continue, and I am planning to do the White Rabbit on Thurs 8th, then maybe somewhere on Sunday. I also will busk on Mon or Tues. It's all very exciting :)
